European Shield How to Defend Europe in an Uncertain Decade?

In times of international turbulence and the erosion of alliance cohesion, the question of whether Europe can defend itself is entirely valid. We present to you a report that will attempt to answer this question, as well as outline the latest political trends, arms and defense financing programs, the potential of European NATO member armies, and identify capability and capacity gaps. The New Europe Institute’s report will help clarify the path Europe is taking, and recommendations for necessary actions will be presented. We hope that reading this report will be particularly useful for decision-makers and individuals involved in implementing security and defense policies.
